The Matrix Deburring Applications Lab (MDAL) was created as a developmental tool to evaluate automated deburring operations in a real-life testing environment. It allows Matrix to take actual parts to test the deburring operation with various processes and technologies in order to determine what deburring process is the best fit for a specific part that needs to be deburred.

The MDAL contains a single FANUC robot in the center of four stations that can be used separately or together to determine the best tools and processes for each unique deburring operation. Matrix proprietary adaptive technologies are integrated into each station. See robotic deburring page for more information on adaptive technologies.

If you are dealing with pesky burrs on your machined parts, Matrix Design is offering a free, no obligations deburring analysis for those who have a need to deburr or remove material from a machined part. Depending on the complexity of the burrs and the parts, a deburring test analysis report can be generated within 2-4 weeks.
